Day 325: Dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide

Oh gosh… this is why education is important. Thinking for ourselves is a good thing. Unfortunately however, politics take advantage of this all the time. Making ridiculous things sound like good ideas to the uninformed and uneducated public. Being in my third year of Chemistry, right away, I know that dihydrogen monoxide is the same as water. di(2) hydrogen (H) monoxide (O) = H2O

Maybe I do see why colleges make us take those seemingly pointless core credit classes that have nothing to do with our majors. Being “well-rounded” and educated is actually a pretty good thing. For the sake of our world. Especially seeing as how college students are the future.
