“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning how to dance in the rain.”
Things are pretty rough right now, so little reminders like this quote are oh so important to get through them. I already laugh way more than a normal person should, so I think that certainly helps with this dancing in the rain advice. We can’t spend our lives waiting for the rough patches to finish. If we did that, we would miss out on so much of our lives that we couldn’t get back. We are given one chance to live, so we’d better live it the way we deserve to, and in such a manner than accepts the fact that this is our one shot to make it count. What kind of a life is one of purely sadness and discontent? Certainly life is not always a happy one, but why not do everything we can to bring out the rainbow before the end of the storm? After all, isn’t that when we most need one?
