Breaking Bottles…And Hearts. (Just Bottles)

So in honor of a basketball game time confusion, I ended up spending the day with my mom instead of going to the game. As lame as it sounds, it was actually really nice. We got amazing pedicures -with honey and wax- and then went to this adorable coffee shop, where I had a near death experience because the latte I was drinking was just so delicious. Then we went to hobby lobby to pick up some jars for a workout tally we decided to do. In order to be fit for summer, I tallied five workouts over a span of 12 weeks, and when I do one workout, I place a gumball from the workouts To Do jar to the workouts Done jar. I’m pretty excited about it. I’m also going to come up with some sort of incentive for filling up the workouts done jar. I haven’t come up with it yet, but perhaps it will be a bathing suit, or something. We shall see. 🙂

Hopefully the jar will be much more full before I know it!

So anywho, to tonight, Kelsey, the madre, and I worked on a bottle cutting project. It was actually pretty cool. We got to light bottles on fire pretty much, and then place them in cold water to have them break into two pieces, creating cups and neat candle cover-type things.

Over all, I’d say it was a pretty successful Saturday. 🙂
